Norma Gallegos
Program Director
DOJ/BIA Accredited Representative
Formally launched by World Relief Spokane, in June 2015 became accredited Federally by the Department of Justice through the Board of Immigration Appeals (BIA). Has a passion and love for serving immigrants from all countries and backgrounds on the North Central Washington area. Believes that we all have equal participation in learning from each other valuing multiple cultures. With many years of education and experience with the DOJ, Norma brings a well rounded community service to our valley and families.

Johanna Ruelas
Operation Manager
Has been with Hand in Hand for over a year, bringing a new prospective to our small office. Johanna is ready to serve the community, staff and students. She actively participates in Outreach, Naturalization Preparedness Class and Community Engagement. Along with helping HIH with the day to day operational tasks.


Monica Valle
Assistant Case Worker
Has been at Hand in Hand Immigration Services for two years. She is Norma's legal assistant, here to serve and help you with your consultation, answers questions about our program and citizenship. The best moments at Hand in Hand for Monica is when she gets to help a future citizen work for their American dreams.

Alejandra Rodriguez
Outreach - Administrative Assistant
Started as a volunteer with Hand in Hand, and in the last four years she has grown in our organization into the Outreach -Administrative Assistant. She helps HIH with the message about our ten step program to different counties in Washington State. As well assist in answering questions and our education program.
